Argyle was formed and founded in December 2010, and began independent operations in February 2011. Argyle is a spin-out of Signum Biosciences, Inc. (“Signum”), and as part of the spin-out transaction, Signum has assigned to Argyle all of the relevant intellectual property, including patents, patent applications, know how, and note books, related to dermatological diseases. In addition, certain key employees of Signum involved in the development of these dermatological products have become employees of Argyle.
